The art and frame are then imprinted carefully onto a canvas frame. This can then be hung like a regular streched canvas frame. When viewed from normal viewing distances, the art in BIJOU FRAMES© resembles a three-dimensional framed art.

Conventional art frames that are larger than 11x14 inches are quite a chore to hang on a wall. The weight of the frame, mat and glass, and the special mounting hardware that it typically requires, makes hanging a conventional frame quite a hassle. Not so with BIJOU FRAMES©. These frames are lightweight. Even our largest canvas art frames can be easily hung on a wall with just a tiny nail.

Yes, we can create custom frames and mats in the colors of your choosing. Please remember, custom-colored frames will have longer production times; anywhere from 1-3 weeks.

When picking art for any size room, bigger is usually better. Due to the visible details in the art in BIJOU FRAMES©, they look spectacular in larger frame sizes (usually frames larger than 20 inches). But we also understand - large frames might not be suitable for tighter spaces, so we created smaller frames too. Mind you, art in BIJOU FRAMES© looks amazing even in smaller sizes, but the details of the art are most visible in larger sizes.

Consider how far the viewer will normally be, when viewing the BIJOU FRAME© . If you are hanging a BIJOU FRAME© above a couch, the closest viewing distance would likely be under 4 feet. Therefore you might want to consider a frame 16 X 20 or larger. Below are some suggested minimum viewing distances for the BIJOU FRAMES©.

It is usually best to combine art that was designed to be displayed as a set because it creates a sense of harmony and completeness.
